Due to our international shipping process, we are unable to provide returns or exchanges on products.

If there are any details you are unsure of, please make an inquiry to customer support before you place your order.
We take all necessary measures to ensure quality service. We can only provide exchange services at no additional costs in the rare case that:

• the item has incurred damage
• the received item is different from what was ordered

Please contact customer support within 10 days for these situations. 
Refunds will be issued by the same method as the original payment.
For credit card payments, refunds will be made within one week.

※Timing of the refund will depend on the credit card company.

Items that are shipped back to Takasago Fluidic systems due to customer failure to retrieve the item(s) from the local post office, will be refunded for the cost of the item(s) while shipping costs will not be refunded. Items that are unclaimed from the local post office within a certain time frame will be shipped back to Takasago Fluidic systems. Please be sure to contact your local post office as soon as possible if you see that your item is in retention.

・We do not accept cancellations after the product has been shipped.
・If an order is cancelled after payment has been completed, about 5 -6 % system fee will be charged to the customer.

Refund Method

1. We proceed with the refund process after confirmation of the items being returned.

2. In the case of payment via credit card, we will claim a stop of payment processing. Please follow up with your credit card issuer to enquire about their refund policy.

3. In the case of payment via PayPal, we will claim a stop of payment processing. The payment will be refunded to your PayPal account within 7 business days.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers Only)

In accordance with EU consumer protection regulations, customers residing in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase contract within 14 days from the date they receive the goods without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you may submit your request through our dedicated [Withdrawal Form] available on our website. This form allows you to submit your request immediately by entering your name and order number; you do not need to log in to a customer account. After submission, we will automatically send an acknowledgment of receipt to your email address.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal: Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following product types:

• Custom-made or Customized Products: Goods made to your specifications cannot be returned or canceled once production or assembly has begun.

• Made-to-Order Components: Products manufactured or configured to order based on your specifications are excluded from return.

• Used Products: For quality assurance and contamination-control reasons, products that have been operated or exposed to any liquid, gas, or reagent after delivery cannot be returned, as their performance can no longer be guaranteed. 

Return Shipping Costs & Guidelines:

• Return Shipping Fee: Customers are fully responsible for all return shipping costs (including shipping fees back to Japan, taxes, and duties incurred during return).

• Partial Returns & Free Shipping Adjustments: If a partial return causes the total value of the remaining items in your order to fall below our free shipping threshold, the standard original shipping fee specified on our Shipping page will be deducted from your final refund amount.

• Cancellations During Transit: As noted in our Cancel Policy above, orders cannot be stopped once shipped. If a withdrawal request is submitted after your package has already been shipped, delivery cannot be canceled mid-transit. You must either accept the package and arrange for a return, or refuse delivery at the time of delivery. Refunds will only be processed after the package has safely arrived back at our facility in Japan and its condition has been verified.

• Damaged Items, Lost Shipments, and Value Diminishment: Returned products must be unused, undamaged, include all original labels and documentation, and in their original packaging. While you have a statutory right to request a return, you are legally responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the items. We reserve the right to reduce your refund amount or refuse a refund entirely, including up to a 100% deduction, if items are returned damaged, altered, contaminated, or if the package is lost in transit during return and fails to reach our facility. Takasago Electric, Inc. assumes no responsibility or liability for any damage, loss, or soiling of products that occurs during return shipping; such risks are the responsibility of the customer or the carrier.
