Fluidic Unit for an IVD instrument
This is an example of a fluidic solution that has a manifold as a core, with valves, plunger pumps, a thin type piezo pump, a chamber etc. compactly arranged on it. By minimizing the dimensions and greatly reducing the internal volume of the channels, this solution helped improve detection accuracy, reduce the volume of samples and reagents used, and improve washing efficiency, which contributed to faster analysis. Compared to the conventional tubing design, we reduced the entire unit size to about 2/3.
