The Effect of VENTIDUCT

March 25, 2020

The Effect of VENTIDUCT for Heat Control by Thermal Radiation:

The following graphs show that fitting VENTIDUCT reduces the temperature rise within a valve by approximately 12℃.

Test conditions:

  • Fluid: water (Non-Circulating)
  • Valve: MTV-2-M6
  • Full Rated voltage: 24 VDC

Without VENTIDUCT                         With VENTIDUCT
Diagram comparing With and Without Ventiduct
  • Without VENTIDUCT: Heat generated in the solenoid increases the liquid temperature.
  • With VENTIDUCT: Fluid temperature increases by 12℃ less when fitted with VENTIDUCT.
