Our CEO Participates in the 16th Japan–India Joint Economic Forum
We are pleased to announce that the 16th Japan–India Joint Economic Forum was held in New Delhi, India.
The event was attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
More than 150 Japanese companies participated, and 129 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), with a total value of approximately JPY 2 trillion, were signed.
During the forum, our CEO, Hiratani, explained to Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Takaichi that our company is collaborating with Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and Indian startups to contribute to the future development of the aerospace industries of both countries.
He also emphasized that excessive dependence on a single provider, such as Starlink in the United States, is undesirable from the perspective of economic security.
He expressed our company's strong commitment to actively contributing to the realization of both a "Japanese Starlink" and an "Indian Starlink" initiative through the development of small satellite technologies.
