Pittcon 2010 Report

 At Pittcon 2010, March. 1-4, New Munich Trade Fair Centre, Munich, Germany, we exhibited our products including our inert piezoelectric micro pumps that has been under development using a subsidy from the Japanese government.

The main field where the visitors are working is Chemical Analysis. However, it varies as follows;
Life Sciences/Biotechnology, Instrument Design & Development, Clinical Diagnostics, Micro Tas and Others.

Most visitors showed their interests in our piezoelectric micro pumps. Some of visitors who handle aggressive liquids were interested in the inert piezoelectric micro pumps.

We intend to complete this inert piezoelectric micro pumps sometime this spring.

μTAS Module (with disposable chip)

This is a demo module exhibiting the mixing and dispensing of two liquids in a chip with Y-shaped internal channels. It is a very compact module (with dimensions of W72 x L125 x H48.2 mm) that is composed of ultra-small syringe pumps and ultra-small inert valves, and is suitable for applications such as μTAS, Lab-on-a-Chip and point-of-care testing (POCT). The chip is made of bonded plastic layers so as to be economical in mass production and disposable. The controller for the operation of this module has a touchscreen that allows users to easily set the dispense volume or the method of dispensing (simultaneously or alternately).

This is just an example of the modules we provide. Besides this, we design and manufacture modules according to your requests to control liquids in various chips. Please feel free to ask us at contact if you are considering making an experimental device for μTAS etc.

analytica 2010

At analytica 2010, March 23-26, New Munich Trade Fair Centre, Munich, Germany, we will exhibit our products. The main feature will be the inert piezoelectric micro pump that is under development using a subsidy from the Japanese government. The exhibit also features a variety of our products including fluid control modules integrating various miniature fluid components. Our booth will be located at Hall B2, Booth 510, and we look forward to meeting you at our booth.
