spaces, miniaturising application space and shortening the length of flow

2.  Highly chemically inert diaphragm valve

PEEK and
Perfluoroelastomer are used for wetted materials. Materials can be changed
according to your requirements.

 

3.  Internal volume
only 4.3 μl

Through pursuing
miniaturisation to the uttermost, internal volume is now only 4.3
μl. The internal
volume of the valve chamber, which can be a dead volume, comprises only 0.75 μl
of this. This contributes to reductions in reagent/sample quantities and improvements
in analysis accuracy.

 

4.  Latching
solenoid valve

The open/closed status of valve is maintained by
permanent magnetic force. No energisation is required to maintain the valve

Molded Manifold Valve XTA-2E Series

Flexibly Joinable Stations

Features

   Each basic block holds a pair of 2-way XTA valves. Up to 6 blocks can be flexibly joined together to give a maximum of 12 stations. This manifold provides both a cost reduction and a flexible configuration that cannot be achieved by conventional molded manifolds.

   A 2-row construction enables a shorter length of manifold and common channel, which contributes to a small internal volume and easy arrangement on an instrument.

   The extremely inert material ETFE (fluorocarbon polymer) is used for the block.

   A choice of diaphragm material is available: PTFE for the highest chemical compatibility or FPM/EPDM for cost saving.

   In addition to M6 and 1/4-28UNF threads, the special option of the Push-in Fitting is also available for the port connection, which allows quick connection by just inserting the tubing.

μTAS Module (with disposable chip)

This is a demo module exhibiting the mixing and dispensing of two liquids in a chip with Y-shaped internal channels. It is a very compact module (with dimensions of W72 x L125 x H48.2 mm) that is composed of ultra-small syringe pumps and ultra-small inert valves, and is suitable for applications such as μTAS, Lab-on-a-Chip and point-of-care testing (POCT). The chip is made of bonded plastic layers so as to be economical in mass production and disposable. The controller for the operation of this module has a touchscreen that allows users to easily set the dispense volume or the method of dispensing (simultaneously or alternately).

Zero Pumping Volume Valve – Solenoid-driven Slider Valves

solenoid-driven slider valve is a kind of shear valve in which a shutter called
a “slider” moves vertically and shuts off the flow path. The pumping volume
which occurs
when a diaphragm valve opens and closes, or the dead volume in which some fluid
may stay in the valve is reduced to almost zero,

preventing reduction of accuracy in analysis or fluid dispensation.
Furthermore, the pressure capability of this slider valve is greatly improved.
